Synhouse has far and away the largest inventory of NED systems (80+) and parts in the world. Any system anyone would possibly want to pay for can be built by special order. Some standard Synhouse upgraded configurations for systems with the highest Model D processor, latest software, the MIDI Option, and gigantic sound libraries are:
16 Stereo Option

$3,999.99
16 polyphonic

$4,999.99
8 polyphonic sampling

more

$11,999.99
full Synclavier Tapeless Studio system with 32 panning polyphonic

MaxTrax
upgrade on 36+ gigabytes of UltraSCSI audio storage,
V/PK velocity keyboard, and much more
$13,999.99
These are just suggested system configurations and anything is possible.
Beyond that, the big poly systems can
have more than anyone would
want to pay for, 32 or 64 more poly voices up to a total of 96
poly
voices,
a synthesizer voice expander with up to 32 Stereo Option synthesizer
voices making
a 128-voice system, extra stand alone recording units with tracks
in groups of
16,
and
more.
If your budget is limited, the
$3,999.99 or
$4,999.99 machines above are strongly recommended, as they are an
excellent
value and easily upgradeable to any higher level of equipment.
There
are no dead ends in any of these suggested configurations,
meaning that
no hardware will be obsoleted and discarded in upgrades, because they
are already starting at the highest NED hardware level (D processor
with all associated cards, Superfloppy, SCSI Winchester, MIDI Option,
and the VK Panel option or V/PK velocity keyboard option and the VK Panel option).
It generally takes from 10 to 30 working
days to build, burn in, and
fully test a
system. Most systems ship to Western Europe and are exported from Los
Angeles, California. Studio cartage and setup/tutorial can be provided
in Southern California.
If something is to your liking but beyond your immediate budget, Synhouse accepts Visa, MasterCard, Amex, bank wires, or a mix of any of them, and can offer a deposit/layaway plan of 30/60/90 days or more, depending on the total system price.
